Phase 1 in production

An environmental study is written by many hands. TILAP-IA turns it into a single file.

Draft, review, approve and deliver environmental studies as a team. Every chapter with its owner, its reviewer and a version you can defend later. At the end, the document assembled in ODT, DOCX and PDF with the format the authority expects.

  • 52 templates for Colombian study types
  • Traceability section by section
  • AI on our own infrastructure
TILAP-IA

01 · Why it exists

The hard part is not the writing: it is reconciling what eight people wrote.

An environmental impact assessment, a management plan or a compliance report are long documents, written by different specialists and subject to review. The technical work is hard enough; putting it together should not be.

  • The document lives scattered

Chapters in email, versions in shared folders, annexes nobody is sure are the latest. Consolidation happens by hand, late and nervously.

  • Review leaves no trail

Who approved which chapter, in which version and when. When the authority asks months later, that answer should already exist, not be reconstructed from memory.

  • Delivery is assembled at the last minute

Numbering, justified text, the size of the photographic record, field forms in their original format. Days of work that add not a single line of content.

02 · What it is and what it is for

A platform where the study is written, approved and delivered.

TILAP-IA —Integrated Technique for Working on and Archiving Projects with Artificial Intelligence— centralises projects, teams and documents: it carries every study from its initial structure to the final report, without ever taking it out of the system.

  • A single file

A project is one living document with its chapter tree, its annexes, its forms and its team. No copies circulating: there is one version, and it is the one everybody sees.

  • Defensible traceability

Every change is recorded with its author and its moment, every section keeps its version history, and every approval records who gave it. The audit is not prepared: it is already written.

  • Delivery, solved

The final document assembles itself from the approved sections and comes out in ODT, DOCX and PDF with the expected format. Before generating it, the system reports what is missing.

03 · How it works

From template to final report, in five steps.

The same path for a 40-chapter management plan as for a short compliance report. The template changes; the way of working does not.

  1. 1

You pick the type of study

The project starts from a template —impact assessment, management plan, baseline, alternatives— and appears with its full chapter tree, in the order the methodology requires. You can also define your own.

  2. 2

    You share out the work

Each section is assigned to whoever writes it, with its lead author, its due date and —this is the important part— the actions that person may take there: write, approve, attach or only comment. No section is left orphaned.

  3. 3

You write as a team, at the same time

Several people write on the same text simultaneously, seeing each other’s cursors. Photographs, tables and annexes are attached, comments run in threads, and everything is saved without anyone having to remember to save.

  4. 4

    Approval happens chapter by chapter

The reviewer approves or returns each section with an observation. What is approved is marked; what is returned goes back to its author with the reason. Progress stops being an impression and becomes a figure.

  5. 5

    The final document is generated

The system checks which sections are missing and which forms are incomplete, consolidates what has been approved and delivers the report in ODT, DOCX and PDF, with its annexes. Every generated version is archived.

04 · System modules

What you find inside.

Every module is included in every plan. What changes between plans is capacity and support response time, never the features.

  • Projects

Creation from a template, a record with dates and location, progress states, consumption statistics and reversible archiving.

  • Structure and content

A multi-level tree of chapters and subchapters, an editor with tables and images, autosave and per-section version history.

  • Tasks and team

Per-section assignment with a lead author, a due date and permissions of its own. A view of what is pending for each person.

  • Approvals

Approval and rejection section by section, batch approval, full history and statistics on what has been reviewed.

  • Field forms

Structured, versioned forms that return the original Excel file with its layout intact, plus a faithful PDF.

  • Final document

Prior validation of what is missing, consolidation of what is approved, and output in ODT, DOCX and PDF, with a downloadable package including annexes.

  • Templates

52 system templates, plus each account’s own, written in a structured language that validates the hierarchy before accepting it.

  • Attachments and media

Photographs, tables and annexes attached to their section or their task, with per-account storage and metered consumption.

  • Comments, notes and alerts

Threaded comments on every section and task, working notes, and in-app alerts with a pending counter.

  • Audit trail

A record of the state before and after every change, with author, source address and exact moment.

  • Administration

Accounts, users, roles, security and resource consumption. Each account isolated from the rest, with limits of its own.

  • AI assistance

Writing improvement, content suggestions and analysis of sections, projects and documents, executed on the service infrastructure.

05 · Who does what

Five roles, and a permission of its own for every task.

Permissions are not written into the program: they live in the database and are checked before every action. On top of that floor, each assignment defines what that person may do in that particular section.

  • Direction

Governs the whole installation: accounts, system templates and configuration. It is the role with visibility over every project.

  • Account administration

The project director within the organisation: creates the studies, defines the structure, assigns people and answers for delivery.

  • Author

The specialist for each subject. Writes their section, attaches evidence, comments and marks their work as finished.

  • Reviewer

The specialist who signs off: reads, comments, approves or returns with an observation, but does not rewrite someone else’s text.

  • Analyst

Meant for the third party who audits —an environmental authority, a client, an external peer—. Reads and comments only: never edits or approves.

  • Per-task permissions

Beyond the role, each assignment declares its actions: read, edit, approve, reject, comment, attach or export. The same author may approve in one chapter and only write in another.

If your team works with the executor, reviewer and approver nomenclature, the mapping is direct: the executor is the author, the reviewer is the reviewer, and the approver is account administration or project direction.

06 · Templates

52 ready structures, built on the Colombian methodology.

Every template brings the full chapter tree for that type of study, in the order the ANLA methodology and the Ministry of Environment guidelines expect. The document starts with the right structure, not with a blank page.

  • 15 · Environmental Impact Assessment

Hydrocarbons, large-scale mining, wind and solar energy, hydropower, road infrastructure, ports, water supply and wastewater treatment, landfill, gas pipelines, transmission lines, agro-industry and more.

  • 15 · Environmental Management Plan

Management, follow-up and monitoring programmes by project type, with the record structure the authority reviews.

  • 12 · Environmental baseline

Characterisation of the abiotic, biotic and socio-economic environments, ready to receive each specialist’s work.

  • 10 · Environmental Diagnosis of Alternatives

The comparison of project alternatives with its formal structure, prior to the impact assessment.

Templates are written in a structured language of our own, close to Markdown but strict: if the chapter hierarchy is malformed, the system rejects it instead of silently accepting a broken structure. Each account can create and edit its own.

07 · The artificial intelligence

It assists the writing without taking your information away.

The models run on the service infrastructure, not on an external provider. Your study, your field data and your annexes never leave it for a third party to process.

  • Improves what is written

Takes the text of a section and returns it clearer and better written, with the context of the project and the chapter it belongs to.

  • Suggests content

Proposes how to develop a chapter when it has to be started, from the description of that section and of the study.

  • Analyses and summarises

Reviews a section, the whole project or an uploaded document, and returns an analysis the team can use before the formal review.

  • Solves the form mapping

Works out once which cell of the original Excel file each form field belongs to. It is reviewed, saved, and from then on filling is deterministic.

  • Assembles the final draft

Consolidates the approved sections into a coherent document, ready for the human review that remains mandatory.

  • Never signs for you

Responsibility for the content lies with whoever signs the study. The platform provides the structure and the assistance; the technical judgement is the professional’s.

08 · Security and backup

What holds up trust in the file.

An environmental study is documentary evidence. If you cannot show who wrote what and when, the file loses its value.

  • Controlled access

Sessions signed with asymmetric cryptography, lockout after failed attempts, and an extra check that only appears when someone insists on getting it wrong.

  • A real audit trail

Every change stores the state before and after, with its author, its source address and its time. It is the same in every plan.

  • Automatic backups

The infrastructure permanently backs up the database and the files, in every plan, without you having to schedule anything.

Each organisation works in an isolated account, with its own users, projects and storage. Personal data is processed under Colombian Law 1581 of 2012.

09 · Plans and pricing

The price you see is the price you pay.

Monthly figures per account, in US dollars and with the 19 % Colombian VAT already included. Every plan carries the same features: capacity and support response time are what change.

What if I need more storage?

It grows in blocks: USD 11.90 a month for every additional 50 GB. You are billed for the space actually used, so whatever you delete stops being charged. The taxable bases are USD 25, 79, 149, 299 and 10.

Is there a fair use policy?

Yes. The service is for environmental projects: videos are accepted up to 1 GB per file, binary files are not versioned, and it does not work as general-purpose backup. In case of abusive use we warn you before limiting uploads.

What if I want to cancel?

You can export your information before cancelling. After cancellation the data is kept for 30 days and then permanently deleted.

Can I sign up online?

No. The account is opened through direct contact, with the proposal and the terms in writing before any charge. We also support the roll-out and train the team.

10 · What is coming

What is not there yet, said plainly.

The first phase is in production and is what is described above. What follows is planned and not yet delivered: we would rather say it here than have you find out after signing.

  • Cartography and georeferencing

Linking the project cartography and placing the information on the map. Planned.

  • Search across the corpus

Searching by meaning across every study in the account, not only by title. Planned.

  • Email alerts

Alerts are in-app today; sending due dates and changes by email is planned.

  • Indicator dashboard

Charts of progress, participation and compliance. The data is already recorded; the view is missing.

  • Assessment matrix

The impact rating matrix with configurable criteria. Planned.

  • Mobile application

Offline field capture from the phone. Planned.

11 · Let us talk

Show us your next study and we will show you how it would look inside.

We open a demonstration account with the template for your type of study, support the roll-out and train the team. No online payment and no lock-in: the written proposal comes first.
